“LANGUAGES”, a new rubrique of WORK|OUT, in co-operation with SETL, European School for Literary Translation, Naples    | A Napoli avviene ogni giorno un miracolo, un grande desiderio che si realizza di noi piccoli funamboli campani che ci destreggiamo su un filo sottile a cui fanno capo due differenti culture e lingue. Lo scenario è lunare frammisto a un nonsoché di greco antico. Le infrastrutture sono l’apoteosi di efficienza e modernitā, con un’esuberanza nel rinfrescare a tutti i costi questi nostri animi accalorati dalla bella sapienza che ci viene inculcata quotidianamente da traduttori eccellenti, maestri-poeti, scrittori, giornalisi, saggisti, filosofi, linguisti, editors ed editori con cui ci č persino concesso di interagire.    A Città della Scienza nel giugno scorso è stato avviato infatti il progetto SETL per una scuola europea di traduzione letteraria ideato dalla splendida traduttrice Magda Olivetti per la formazione di nuovi traduttori “colti”. Noi germanisti, anglo-americanisti, francesisti, arabisti ci impegnamo a rendere conto ai lettori di WORK|OUT sul nostro operato e a contribuire con brevi recensioni, articoli e commenti sulle culture di partenza considerandoci in linea con il sentimento piú intimo di quest’unica rivista europea per studenti che viene pubblicata multilingue e invariata in diverse città d’Europa. in English:    | Mokama. The infrastructure is the apotheosis of efficiency and modernity, there is an exuberance apparent in the way our passionate souls are refreshed and excited by the knowledge we are provided with every day by the master translators, poets, writers, journalists, philosophers, linguists and editors that we have been able to interact with. At Cittā della Scienza last June, the SETL project was put into action. This project envisages a European school for literary translation, which will produce a new generation of “cultured” translators, it is the idea of the well-respected translator Magda Olivetti. We lovers of German, Anglo-American, French and Arabic culture have pledged to make the readers of WOR|KOUT aware of our work and to contribute with short pieces, articles and comments on the culture we share, considering ourselves people who share the most intimate feelings expressed in this unique European magazine for students, published in various languages but in the same format all over Europe. | translation: Richard Wright
